2010 Audi e-tron R8 Shows Off at Le Mans

Before Audi pulled off an amazing 1-2-3 sweep at Le Mans yesterday, they had Frank Biela zip around in their e-tron concept car for the fans. Basically, its an Audi R8 V10 shell with fully-electric propulsion. The e-tron sports four electric motors, one for each wheel, making it a true quattro. Total power output equates to 313 hp, which propels the car from 0-60 in about 4.8 seconds. The battery sits where the normal engine would go and can be charged with household electricity. A full charge is reached in 6-8 hours.
